TheDataPaq™DeepFocusRackScanneriseasytoset-up,andcanbereadytouseonlyafewminutesaftertakingitoutofthebox.TheDeepFocusarrivesfullycalibratedandisreadytoreadallmakesofSBSformat2Dbarcodedracksandtubes.OurDataPaq™softwaremakesitsimpletoexportdatatoExcel,XMLortext,andscannedimagescanalsobesaved.TheDeepFocusRackScannercanalsobeusedwithourLinearBarcodeReadersothebarcodeontheside

TheDataPaq™softwareisdesignedandwrittenin-houseatZiath.Decoding2Dbarcodesisachievedusingourownalgorithmwhichwespecificallydevelopedfor‘tubesized’codesItisnotaglobal,generic"off-the-shelf"algorithmthatwasdesignedtoreadabarcodeinasupermarket.DataPaq™displaystheresultsofthescanandcanidentifythedifferencebetweenacorrectlyscannedtube(green),adamagedtube(red)andmissingtube(grey).Also,anytubeimagecanbeclickedonandtheindividualscanisshown(ontherighthandside)withthetubelocationandbarcode.
Cryoprotection™Option
Theformationofcondensationontheinstrumentwindowwhilstscanningtubesstraightfromcryogenicstorageisawellknownproblem.Ziath"sCryoprotection™isaspecialcoatingthateliminatesthecondensationandensuresuninterruptedscanning.Ziath"smethodforeliminatingcondensationusesnoextraelectricalcomponents,resultinginnoriskofaccidentallythawingyoursamples,increasedreliABIlityandensuringthatthecostofthisoptionisatacceptablelevels.
