TheDataPaq™HighSpeedSingleRackScanneriseasytoset-up,andcanbereadytouseonlyafewminutesaftertakingitoutofthebox.Afteraone-timeautomaticcalibration,thescannerisreadytoreadallSBSformat2Dbarcodedracksandtubes.OurDataPaq™softwaremakesitsimpletoexporttoExcel,XMLortextandalsoallowsscannedimagestobesaved.TheDataPaq™HighSpeedScannercanalsobeusedwithourLinearBarcodeReadersothebarcodeonthesideoftherackcanbescannedsimultaneously.

TheDataPaq™softwareisdesignedandwrittenin-houseatZiath.Decoding2Dbarcodesisachievedusingourownalgorithmwhichwespecificallydevelopedfor‘tubesized’codesItisnotaglobal,generic"off-the-shelf"algorithmthatwasdesignedtoreadabarcodeinasupermarket.DataPaq™displaystheresultsofthescanandcanidentifythedifferencebetweenacorrectlyscannedtube(green),adamagedtube(red)andmissingtube(grey).Also,anytubeimagecanbeclickedonandtheindividualscanisshown(ontherighthandside)withthetubelocationandbarcode.
Cryoprotection™Option
Theformationofcondensationontheinstrumentwindowwhilstscanningtubesstraightfromcryogenicstorageisawellknownproblem.Ziath"sCryoprotection™isaspecialcoatingthateliminatesthecondensationandensuresuninterruptedscanning.Ziath"smethodforeliminatingcondensationusesnoextraelectricalcomponents,resultinginnoriskofaccidentallythawingyoursamples,increasedreliABIlityandensuringthatthecostofthisoptionisatacceptablelevels.
